INVITATION TO TENDER

TENDER No BBRDC 01/16 – ROAD CONSTRUCTION – SENTINEL ROAD

Tenders are invited from reputable and registered Civil Engineering Constructors for the construction (Upgrade from earth road to gravel road) of 23.2km of Sentinel Road in Beitbridge District.

TENDER DOCUMENTS

 Tender documents are available from Beitbridge Rural District Council Offices at 275 Hagelthorn Road Beitbridge, upon payment of a non refundable fee of 100.00 USD.

 SUBMISSION DATE

 Tenders are to be deposited in sealed envelope endorsed – “Tender – ROAD CONSTRUCTION – SENTINEL ROAD”.  together with copies of certificate of incorporation, tax clearance certificate and a detailed company profile to the undersigned on or before the closing date on the 26th of  August 2016 at 1200 noon. Tender opening shall be done on the same day at 14:30hrs in the Council boardroom. Contractors are cordially invited to witness the tender opening ceremony. Council is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bidder, and reserves  the right to award the contract in part or in full and the right to reject all the tenders.

SITE VISIT

A briefing and compulsory site visit  for prospective contractors to be held on the 12th of August 2016 at 10:00am.  A brief meeting with contractors to be held in the Council boardroom and thereafter drive to Sentinel road.
